Mental Models: How to Train Your Brain to Think in New Ways

Mental models have incredible power to help you simplify and establish narrative around your complex problems. They also help make sense of an ambiguous world.

"Big thinkers" like Charles Darwin and Leonardo da Vinci used mental models to explain the world and to describe connections within it. Think of mental models like frameworks that allow you to add structure to ambiguity, while still allowing for flexibility within the frame to explore, connect and evolve your thinking. We like this particular article because of it's depth though we encourage you to take away the concept of mental models more than needing to know each one.

As you explore, think about the mental models you use and how you can expand your use of mental models to add narrative to your next complex problem.
